Frequently Asked Questions About HiSET

What is the HiSET exam?
It is a test that U.S. states use in the process of granting accreditation that is equivalent to a high school degree. The exam allows you to demonstrate that you have the same academic knowledge and skills as a high school graduate. Taking the exam can help you do many different things, such as: boosting your education, helping you advance in your profession, joining the military, and satisfying federal educational requirements.
WhAT are the subjects of the official HiSET exam?
The HiSET exam is divided into five topics:

  • social studies
  • reading
  • writing
  • math
  • science
How does the program work?
To simplify the process, the program is divided into 5 cycles, one dedicated to each topic. Each cycle lasts about 10 weeks. After finishing the cycle, the group will take the official exam of the corresponding topic at the test center. Then, we will return to class for the next topic.

Our goal is to foster a sense of community in the classroom. We are a collaborative team working hard to achieve our goals. You are responsible for your preparation to pass the exam.

It depends on your diagnostic test results, time spent studying, and class attendance. There is no specific period, as each student learns at their own pace.
