Cleaning Technician 

Halo Hospitality – Knoxville, TN

Halo Hospitality is a Short-Term Rental Management company serving property owners and guests traveling to Knoxville,TN. We specialize in the management of luxury Homes & Condos, and experience-driven accommodations. We are a small business that was started 3 years ago with the goal of Leading the Short-term Rental landscape in Knoxville, and is now one of largest provider of Short-Term Rental accommodations in the City.  We love our City, and are eager to showcase all of the amazing qualities about where we live to those traveling to it.

Position Overview

Cleaning technicians deliver our Cleaning Services to our Customers, and are daily responsible for preparing properties for our guests, deep cleaning as needed, and keeping properties adequately stocked with guest supplies. Their key objective is to ensure property cleanliness and presentation is maintained at the highest of quality before and after our guests.

Our Technicians report daily to the Housekeeping Manager who provides leadership and accountability over the quality of our cleaning operations. Like all of our team members, Technicians need to have a humble, hungry, and positive spirit as they take on daily and weekly objectives. They are excited for the opportunity to use their existing skills to make a positive impact on their work, and to learn new skills as the opportunity presents itself. They love to see a job or project through to completion in a fast paced environment.

Our Technicians are deeply committed to supporting the growth of the business and to growing their own skills as they develop into leaders within the company. This individual should be self motivated, shows initiative, and is expected to hit the targets they set for themselves both personally and professionally.

What will you do?

These are the standards a well-above-average performer will maintain or exceed:

  • Work independently to complete 2-4 cleaning assignments in a shift
  • May visit up to 2-5 properties in a day (Knoxville Area) to complete assignments
  • Use a variety of tools and equipment  in a day, such as: Mop, broom, cleaning solution, carpet shampooer, upholstery stain remover, etc. 
  • Can identify and report basic home maintenance issues and presentation issues. 
  • Complete Presentation Checklists at each property you visit
  • Purchase and restock supplies at properties
  • Replace items such as shower curtains, bath mats, kitchen rugs, etc. 
  • Sweep off porches, decks, and prepare exterior for guest arrival
  • Communicate professionally with guests that need assistance at a property
  • Creating and completing reports 
  • Hold yourself and other team members to high quality work, impeccable integrity, and personal & professional goals

Communications/Interactions

  • CEO / Leadership Team - Weekly
  • Management Team - Daily
  • Vendors/contractors - as needed
  • Clients - as needed to discuss maintenance issues or concerns
  • Guests - as needed

 

Knowledge/Skills/Experience

  • High school graduate
  • Ability to demonstrate high standards of integrity on a daily basis
  • Can multi-task across varying projects in a day 
  • Remain organized & pay attention to details 
  • Can communicate effectively via text messaging, phone calls, and email
  • Can read and understand directions and communicate issues or problems

Compensation & Benefits

Hourly Pay:    $17 - $20+ DOE (Depends on Experience)

Benefits Eligible after 6 Months:

  • Paid Time Off (after 90 days)
  • Scheduled Pay Increases

Gas Stipend: $100/mo

*There is ample opportunity to grow as a leader within the organization

Schedule:

  • Part-Time & Full-time positions available
  • 3-5 days per week, Monday through Sunday
  • Typical shift will be 10:00 am - 4:00 pm
  • Must be available to work on Fridays and Sundays
